Feature Film Project: The Bear Movie
Right after finishing a small feature in Beijing (Connected - it ended up never getting released!) I met up with director Anthony Lamolinara. He was about to start pre-production on a large feature film project combining live-action with animation. Anthony has extensive experience in animation and heavy CG projects (Toy story, Stuart Little, Spider-Man 1&2) We scouted and storyboarded for an entire summer in 2016. The film ended up only seeing its live-action part made - without my participation in the end. Once the edit of that was put together the investors decided not to proceed with the animation bit - which was the larger chuck of the budget since the main character was a talking bear.
