Archive: Beijing Builders
My first trip to Beijing was a martial arts seminar with my teacher Mike Martello. We were out in the far west of the city in a big hotel, mostly training on the hotel grounds. Right next to the hotel was one of the busiest train tracks that connects Beijing with the rest of the country. A bridge was being build to go over it, but because it was such a busy line the constructed the bridge on a pivoting base, finishing it first and then swinging it over the rail road. I just had to go there and make pictures whenever i could.
